what is a good alternate to Korean chili paste ?
Omg I love the way you say gochujang lol It took me a while to say it properly.
I'm not fat. I'm just full of flavor.
i'm korean, it's better to put the shrimp tempura in that sauce together. believe me :)
Larry, just a head up..the recipe measurements aren't posted on your blog.
I woul give it 10 out of 10 and not five
Love all your recipes yum
This looks especially delicious, Larry! :-0 Wow! Also agree 100% that there is nothing at all wrong with using minced garlic in a jar. I've done it for years, and there is no difference with fresh. Definitely would serve over a bed of rice, but I bet it would work well with egg noodles, too! Thanks and thumbs way UP as always, your fellow Virginian, Norfolk Joe
say yummy looks so good, hey my friend i like the Asian Cuisine yummy.. thanks for sharing this new recipe here.. best wishes Tom ;)
Can I use arrowroot instead of corn starch? I have an entire box of it from my Paleo days. I have gochujang for making bulgogi but I can't find white pepper, can I just use the gochujang? It's the pepper flakes, not the paste. I have pink, cayenne, black, and red pepper seasoning if any of these are close to white.
LOL @ "the ever popular and soon to be famous, fresh, homegrown, storebought garlic." That is just evil, and if elected, I will build a wall protecting us from the invasion of these atrocities, and I will make garlic pay for it!
Looks like quite an amazing recipe, Larry!
this dish looks so good
Looks unpronounceabley good!! A 5 out of 5 rating from you = Do Try This at Home for me !Your right about the fat = flavor, but many people don't realize it's also good for your skin, just massage a bit all over and you'll feel and look totally different! Perhaps better!
Ain't cornstarch amazing?? It will fly all over the place without batteries with the merest twitch of your spoon, or by just opening the package, yet crisp the stuff it clings to during cooking, thicken sauces and gives it shine, …plus you can mix a ton (literally) of it with some water to make a non-Newtonian fluid which will allow you to run on it, even quickly stomp on it, even punch it without going through it …. but not stand still in it without sinking….cool…you've seen those videos?
uh, sorry brother, I wasn't thinking… 😮But you could do that standing part, and just sink, for demonstration purposes…. (oh jeez, I hope you're in a good mood today….)
Thigh meat is great choice and this will be on my plate soon!
What an awesome dish. You know when I try to get my sons to eat more healthy, they always say, but, mama, fat taste good. LOL
This is sooo good! I made it once with a few alternatives … but my goodness. So good!… Your dish looks wonderful!
